It has been scientifically proven that small amounts of copper (.2ppm) in the presence of trace amounts of chlorine (.4ppm) is more effective in killing E-Coli bacteria than was 2.0 ppm of chlorine. This means that you would have to use 5 times the chlorine to do the same job as what .2ppm of copper can do with 1/5 the amount of chlorine. Remember, this is scientifically proven stuff. Also, copper ions are totally unaffected by heat, ultra-violet light (Sun), or bather loads. Chlorine is affected by all three. This means that you can turn your chlorinator almost off while using mineral ionization. The water will feel better, look better, be healthier for you and your family all the time.

How is ionization safer than chemicals? Most, if not all of the chemicals used to purify water are caustic and / or toxic. In fact, many are now thought to create carcinogens.
