Pool Secret™ is a new standard in pool treatment that will put a smile on your face. Pool owners love this product! Pool Secret is a unique, earth friendly gel that is engineered to work hand in hand with your existing sanitizer program. Pool Secret performs many simultaneous functions to make your water look the best ever while conditioning your water to feel soft and silky. Pool Secret controls pH, total alkalinity (TA), cyanuric acid (CA), and total dissolved solids (TDS). Pool Secret is an extended life clarifier; one dose lasts 4 weeks. All you need is a sanitizer, some shock treatment and Pool Secret to keep your pool water absolutely perfectly clear and fresh. It's not Magic, it's Science!

Pool Secret™ can prolong the life of solar heaters, heaters, pool cleaners, and a host of other accessories simply because of the decreased amount of chemicals used in your pool.

Pool Secret is so bather-friendly you can be in the pool or spa when it is added. It's great for cleaning tile, vinyl liner dirt and filter cartridges. Pool Secret works with any chemical program including Bacquacil®. It also reduces pH and total alkalinity bounce. Get the pH and (TA) on target, add the gel, and your chemistry will stay very close to the start point.

Dosage: For pools simply add 6 ounces of Pool Secret™ for every 12-15,000 gallons of water every 4 weeks (28 days). In real hot and humid times of the year you may wish to add Pool Secret every 24-25 days. In the off-season if your pool is uncovered, you may cut the dosage in half. Pool Secret™ also works great when used as a pool winterizer for covered pools. Add 1 ounce per 2,000 gallons for winterization. Please read instruction sheets.

Pool Secret™ Instructions
Pool Secret can be added to your pool at any time, whether it's in use or not. There is no need to wait (to swim) after its use. If using Pool Secret™ for the first time, you will be astonished at how easy it is to use, and how hard it works to keep your pool looking great and your water chemistry in balance. And, one 6-ounce jar treats 12-15,000 gallons for 4 weeks! Follow the instructions below for best results:

• First, check the pH and total alkalinity (TA). Adjust the pH to between 7.4-7.8 and get the TA (total alkalinity) between 80-120 PPM. Pool Secret is a buffered product and will always try to keep your water balanced, based on the initial parameters at the time of its introduction.
• Add Pool Secret™ gel to the water, at the rate of 1 ounce per 2,500 gallons of water every 4 weeks (28 days). Add a little more in very hot and humid conditions if needed. Just scoop it out with your hand and place it in the pool proper or the skimmer. If your tile line or vinyl border is dirty, rub the Genie into those areas to clean it. Pool Secret will break into smaller clumps and fully dissolve in minutes. You will see a small amount of foam as you add it. This is fine!
• If you are using chlorine as a maintenance sanitizer you MUST add a shock treatment at the same time Pool Secret is added. We recommend 1 lb. of granular shock for every 6 oz. container. If you have access to liquid chlorine, add 1 gallon for every 6 oz. container of Pool Secret. If you typically use a non-chlorine shock, this is ok, too. Note: It is typical for your free available chlorine (FAC) level to drop after using the Pool Secret™. This is normal. When this occurs, your Total Chlorine level increases. Total Chlorine will give you a longer disinfecting time period, decreasing your need for Free Available Chlorine (FAC) over .5 PPM.
• We recommend that you maintain a minimum of .5 of Free Available Chlorine (FAC) for best results. In hot and humid environments where the pool gets high bather loads, you may wish to maintain 1.0 PPM or higher of FAC.
• Don't forget to add Pool Secret every 4 weeks. If you forget to add it, you'll see a rapid decline in water quality. If you add it on schedule, your water will be the freshest, cleanest and highest quality water that you've ever experienced. Pool Secret™ should reduce your maintenance chemical costs. The clarity and brilliance of your pool water should be the best ever. It also enhances your filter's ability to filter.

SPECIAL NOTES ABOUT Pool Secret™:

1. We do NOT recommend any clarifiers, algaecides or specialty chemicals when using the Pool Secret. You won't need them! Of course, your local pool store may not agree. We are confident that when you use the Pool Secret™ as outlined here, your water will always look great.
2. Pool Secret™ is not a sanitizer. You must still maintain adequate levels of sanitizer in your pool at all times.
3. If you use a cartridge or element filter, we recommend that you hose it (them) off before you add the Pool Secret™. After this, put it (them) back in your filter and add Pool Secret. Your cartridges or elements will be cleaned thoroughly because of Pool Secret's surfactant qualities. With a sand or DE filter, we recommend that you backwash the filter a day or so after starting with this program.
4. Pool Secret™ can be used in all pool surfaces.
5. Pool Secret™ can be used with any and every sanitizing program on the market.
