- Would
you like to save thousands of dollars?
If you answer "yes" to these questions, you're definitely
a candidate for this do-it-yourself project! And you'll save THOUSANDS
on a sparkling new inground pool from SPP. Give us a call today at 1-800-983-7665.

Why Not Buy from a Local Contractor?
Because most customers do a better job than their local dealer ever could. Why? Pool owners make sure everything is right. They tighten every nut and bolt. They measure twice. They're not concerned about how fast they can get the pool installed; they want it done RIGHT.
Because many pool dealers try to scare customers into thinking they can't do it themselves. Their business depends on selling you their pool along with their installation services, so it's in their best interest to steer you towards that complete package. But we know better (and now, so do you).
Because you can save thousands of dollars by doing it
yourself!

If you're Still Unsure about Installing your own Pool...
(But You Still Like Saving Money!)
|
| |
Many of our customers install their
own inground pool with only the help of friends or
family (saving thousands of dollars vs. having their
pool professionally installed). The vast majority
had a smooth installation and after they finished,
most agreed they too had doubts about whether they
could build their own pool, but were pleasantly surprised
over how easy it was, and the short amount of time
it took.
Other customers feel more comfortable contracting
the job to a local contractor. You'll still get a
top-quality pool at a very good price, but your total
cost will be substantially higher. For pool owners
who want to save thousands but would prefer a little
professional help, there's another choice to consider
- only from SPP!
Realizing that many more people across America would
build their own pool if they had someone "on-site" to
supervise the job, SPP came up with a unique program
we call "Rent-A-Randy". We work with a
professional pool installer named Randy Wilcox. Randy
has installed over 3,000 in-ground vinyl liner pools
in his career and has confronted just about every
possible snag you can imagine. Randy is a perfectionist.
But Randy is also approaching 50 years old and would
like to leave most of the labor to the younger guys.
We had an idea that we thought would benefit everyone...
why not have Randy go to homes across the country
(and beyond!) and supervise you & 4 or
5 of your handy friends with the pool installation?
Turns out, people like the idea!
Here's how the “Rent-a-Randy program works:
- You purchase the pool with all the components from SPP (all top-quality
products)
- You get your building permit
- You arrange to have 4 or 5 good workers to help
- We ship everything to your home
- You count everything to make sure there are no shortages
- We give you a complete list of tools and supplies
you will need to do the job
- You arrange for a backhoe to be at your home on the
scheduled day of Randy's arrival, which is always
a Thursday by Noon. Obviously, weather is important
and you must check the local 3-day forecast to be
sure it's not a washout
- Randy will contact you prior to his coming to go
over what he will need you to get or have ready
- Randy arrives at your home on a Thursday by 12 Noon.
The pool is finished by Sunday at 12 Noon
- Randy makes sure that everything he needs to do is
done by the time he leaves

Comments from a recent customer:
I just wanted to say how happy we are with our
new pool from SPP. We hired Randy to help us with
the installation and I can't tell you impressed
we were with his work ethic, knowledge, and overall
enthusiasm for the project. Our installation had
its share of obstacles with the size of our pool
and our lot, but Randy worked through everything
perfectly. Since the completion, our family has
enjoyed our new pool daily...and we look forward
to using it in the future. If you ever need a reference
for Randy or any of your products...please have
them contact us.
Thanks for all your help.

The cost for Randy is $3,000
for East of the Mississippi and $3,500 for West of
the Mississippi. He will pay his own transportation
and lodging costs. He'll arrive by noon on a Thursday
and by Sunday, your pool will be complete and you
will still have saved thousands vs. the cost of an
installed pool! (Incidentally, Randy's oldest son,
Randy Jr., also is an installation supervisor, who
has been helping Dad for over 15 years.)
Contact any of our
In-ground Pool Professionals to schedule a date for
your installation. But hurry, Randy is a very busy
guy! |
