ASK THESE QUESTIONS, BEFORE YOU BUY A SAFETY COVER |
In general, the best way to make sure you are getting
a good Safety Cover and a good deal is to deal with professionals who
can help you every step of the way. Buy from a company that wants you
to call them on the phone. Buy from a company that will actually answer
your phone call and not give you an automated greeting, telling you to
order online when their phone is busy (of course their number is always
busy, they don't want to talk to you). At SPP, we do! So no matter whom
you choose to buy from, always be sure to ask the Internet or Catalog
Company: |
 |
What is the manufacturer's name on the Safety Cover they're
recommending?
At SPP, we don't try and trick our customers with bogus manufacturer
names, model numbers or "teaser" pricing. We proudly carry quality
Safety Covers from some of the best manufacturers in the industry including
GLI, HPI, Meyco and more - and we're happy to share this information
with you before you buy. And if there's a specific make & model
you are interested in, give us a call - we can get it for you! |
 |
Does the company advertising the Safety Cover have a listed phone
number?
You should be wary of companies that do not accept phone calls
and that encourage you to order online and contact them via email only. |
 |
Is their Safety Cover Warranty available for review online?
If not,
ask them to email, fax or mail you a copy of the manufacturer's Warranty
before you buy. |
 |
Does the Safety Cover come with written warranty information?
Each
new Cover should be accompanied by a written Warranty from the manufacturer. |
 |
What is the phone number for the manufacturer of the Safety Cover
you are thinking of purchasing?
The retailer you are considering buying
from should be able to provide you with the Safety Cover manufacturer's
phone number. Call them and ask about the Cover, and the Warranty they
say the Cover has. |
 |
What is the Safety Cover return policy of the retailer?
Is the return
policy posted online? If not, ask them to email or fax you a copy of
their return policy. Read it and see if the Safety Cover can be returned
if something is not right, and to get a feel for the type of company
you may be dealing with. Read about our return policy here. |
 |
With whom do you deal if a problem occurs? The actual manufacturer,
an agent of theirs or the retailer?
At SPP, we're always happy
to assist our customers with warranty issues. We can provide a copy of
the specific warranty, as well as contact information for the manufacturer
to help you resolve any issues. |
 |
Are they a member of the Better Business Bureau? Can you find them
listed on the www.bbbonline.org website?
If not, contact the BBB Online
and ask about the Internet or Catalog Company you plan on purchasing
from, BEFORE you buy. Their phone number is 703-276-0100. Or, go to
www.bbbonline.org. Follow the instructions
regarding how to get a report on a company. You should be suspect if
a company is not even listed on the BBB platform. A company that has
been in business for at least a few years should be listed! SPP has
been a Better Business Bureau member since we started in 1994, and
you can find us listed on the BBB's online directory. |
 |
Is the company you are considering buying your Safety Cover from
a legitimate manufacturer or retailer, or are they a "drop-ship" distributor
who has Safety Covers made under a trade name?
Obviously, if the latter
is the case, your Warranty protection will be greatly diluted. |
 |
Do you get a "warm and fuzzy" feeling from the retailer?
Do you think they will be responsive if you need their assistance?
By
the time you have answers to the questions above, you've probably developed
a feeling about the retailer and their willingness to assist you, and
stand behind their products. At SPP, our goal is to provide outstanding
customer service - it's part of our mission, and is what we've built
our business on. Since 1994, we've been assisting customers before and
after the sale with product information, technical advice, warranty assistance
and more. Ask questions in advance, and know who you are dealing with. |

If SPP is your final destination, we thank you for your vote of confidence!
Since 1994, we have been on a mission to consistently and conscientiously
put the customer's interests ahead of ours. Hanging in our office is
a sign that reads: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary
is that little extra". We live this out day after day. Call us and
see for yourself. At SPP, "we've got you covered". Do we ever
experience warranty and return situations? Absolutely! The difference
is that we don't run from the problem. We handle it! |
